Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Own project execution from order handover to final dispatch
  • Convert customer commitments into detailed execution plans
  • Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across functions
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with NPD/R&D, Manufacturing, SCM, Quality, Planning, and Logistics
  • Drive action closure across teams and resolve execution bottlenecks
  • Act as the single point of coordination for operations-related matters

Production Readiness & Scaling

  • Ensure smooth transition from pilot builds to mass production
  • Track BOM readiness, material availability, and line preparedness
  • Support capacity planning, ramp-up, and volume scaling

Quality, Cost & Risk Management

  • Monitor quality metrics and support resolution of production issues
  • Drive root-cause analysis and CAPA closure with QA and production teams
  • Track project costs, changes, and risk mitigation plans

Change & Configuration Management

  • Track engineering changes, BOM updates, and controlled implementation
  • Ensure proper communication and execution of changes on shop floor

Reporting & Governance

  • Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and MIS
  • Lead internal project reviews and escalation forums
  • Provide clear status updates to leadership and stakeholders

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project execution and coordination skills
  • Understanding of audio product manufacturing (speakers, soundbars, amplifiers, TWS)
  • Knowledge of production processes, supply chain, and quality systems
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Strong follow-up, problem-solving, and ownership mindset
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools

Role Summary

The Project Manager – Operations (Audio) is responsible for end-to-end execution of audio product programs post order handover. The role ensures on-time delivery, production readiness, cost control, and cross-functional alignment across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics teams for audio products such as speakers, soundbars, amplifiers, TWS, and related accessories.
