Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering; Master's
preferred.
10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations within electronics
manufacturing companies.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation processes.
Proven track record in managing large production teams, driving KPIs, and scaling
operations.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership
Drive a high-performance culture across the production floor through effective
leadership, team engagement, and KPI ownership.
Provide strategic guidance to production teams to align with business goals, quality
standards, and delivery expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, SCM, Quality, and
Engineering for seamless plant operations.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to build a robust manufacturing
workforce.
Strategic Operations Management
Oversee and manage daily manufacturing activities ensuring high productivity,
efficiency, and compliance.
Plan production schedules based on demand forecasts, ensuring adherence to
timelines and cost budgets.
Monitor production KPIs including OEE, cycle time, downtime, and yield;
implement corrective actions where required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM
practices to reduce waste and optimize operations.
Quality and Compliance
Ensure adherence to ISO standards, customer quality requirements, and regulatory
norms throughout manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to reduce non-conformities and drive
corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Lead root cause analyses and implement solutions to manufacturing defects or
process failures.
Technology & Process Enhancement
Implement new manufacturing technologies and process automation to improve
productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) in collaboration with engineering and
design teams.
Risk and Resource Management
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and statutory requirements within the plant.
Identify operational risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Manage manufacturing budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation
effectively.
