Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution
 o Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones across all power product lines.
 o Manage timelines, budgets, and internal resources.
 o Proactively identify and address project risks and delays.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination
 o Work closely with R&D, Hardware, Firmware, Industrial Design, QA, Sourcing, and Sales teams.
 o Ensure alignment with product roadmap and customer expectations.

3. Product Development Oversight
 o Manage development lifecycle from ideation to mass production.
 o Drive DFM/DFX practices to ensure high-quality and scalable product outcomes.
 o Monitor performance of internal teams and external suppliers/partners.

4. Quality & Compliance
 o Ensure all BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, and IEC standards are met.
 o Coordinate EVT, DVT, and PVT stages of product validation.

5. Risk Management
 o Foresee and mitigate supply chain, technical, or compliance risks.
 o Build contingency plans for critical path activities.

6. Cost Optimization
 o Drive cost control through efficient BOM structuring and vendor negotiations.
 o Ensure project costs are in line with profitability expectations.

7. Stakeholder & Customer Communication
 o Regularly update senior management on project health and KPIs.
 o Be the SPOC for customer communications, addressing escalations and queries.

8. Sourcing & Vendor Management
 o Handle critical component sourcing (ICs, PCBs, plastics) both from China and local markets.
 o Identify, audit, and develop domestic vendors to strengthen the supply chain.

9. Launch Readiness & Post-Launch Support
 o Ensure packaging, certification, and documentation are ready for launch.
 o Monitor field performance and coordinate solutions for early-life issues.

10. Continuous Improvement
 o Identify and implement process improvements across the NPD lifecycle.
 o Benchmark new technologies (e.g., GaN) and suggest innovations.

Qualifications:
 · B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics or relevant field.
 · Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in NPD within Power or Consumer Electronics category.

Skills & Competencies:
 · Strong understanding of charger and power bank architecture, protocols, and standards.
 · Experience with GaN technology and fast-charging compliance.
 · Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and suppliers (domestic + China).
 · Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Jira, and standard PM tools.
 · Excellent communication and project reporting capabilities.

Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven and technically sound NPD professional to lead the end-to-end New Product Development process for our Power category, including Chargers, Power Banks, and GaN Chargers. The role involves complete project ownership from concept to mass production, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are achieved while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
