Educational Qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electronics, Mechanical, or Supply Chain
  • Experience in ODM electronics manufacturing warehouse (mandatory)
  • Exposure to imported electronic components preferred

Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations – Raw Material

  • Manage end-to-end raw material warehouse operations for electronic components
  • Ensure GRN, binning, put-away, FIFO/FEFO, and traceability compliance
  • Maintain ESD-safe storage and handling practices

2. Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Monitor inventory levels, ageing, slow-moving, and non-moving stock
  • Conduct cycle counts, physical verification, and support audits
  • Control material losses, shortages, and obsolescence risks

3. Material Issue & Production Support

  • Ensure timely material issue to SMT, PCBA, and assembly lines
  • Support trial builds, pilot runs, PP/MP readiness, and ramp-ups
  • Proactively prevent production line stoppages due to material shortages

4. SAP / ERP & MIS

  • Execute and monitor SAP / ERP transactions (GRN, issue, return, transfer)
  • Maintain system vs physical inventory accuracy
  • Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports for warehouse performance

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality, and NPD teams
  • Support IQC coordination, material rejection handling, and replacements
  • Ensure smooth material flow from inbound to shop floor

6. Process Compliance & Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, storage, and warehouse SOPs
  • Drive 5S, layout optimization, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support internal, customer, and statutory audits
Job Summary

Role Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Raw Material (Warehouse) will be responsible for managing electronics raw material warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and timely material issuance to production.

The role supports uninterrupted manufacturing operations in an ODM electronics environment through strong coordination with supply chain, production, quality, and procurement teams.
