Sourcing Manager – Electronics Components

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification & Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for electronic components and materials.
• Establish strong sourcing partnerships with suppliers across Asia, primarily in China.
• Conduct regular supplier assessments to ensure capability, quality, and compliance.

Procurement & Negotiation

• Manage the complete sourcing cycle: RFQ, quotation analysis, price negotiation, PO release, and delivery follow-up.
• Negotiate commercial terms such as pricing, payment terms, lead times, and shipment schedules.
• Maintain cost competitiveness while ensuring consistent quality and supply reliability.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with technical and business needs.
• Ensure timely communication of material updates, availability, and market trends.
• Support new product development (NPD) projects through proactive component sourcing.

Logistics & Compliance

• Coordinate with logistics partners for import shipments and customs clearance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and import/export regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, supplier records, and procurement reports.

Market & Cost Analysis

• Analyze market trends, component pricing, and supply chain risks.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop cost-reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in supplier audits, trade fairs, and occasional international travel for vendor visits.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement of electronic components (PCBs, ICs, connectors, power supplies, etc.).
• Skills:
• Proven experience in sourcing from China; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international supply chains, import documentation, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and global sourcing platforms (Alibaba, Made-in-China, etc.).
• Location: Vasai (Work from site required).
